Hi there!  I’m Joe Carwile.

I learned early in life to work hard for the things that matter.  What means most to me is my family, mostly my niece and nephew.  They inspire me to better myself.

I was raised helping farmers with their crops, so I know what it is to work hard.   I’m a country boy living in Lexington, and serving central and all over Kentucky.

With my training from Western Kentucky University, I’ve worked at several newspapers across the eastern United States. Now I’ve returned to my home state taking pictures of my favorite subject, people in their natural surroundings.  You can take the boy out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the boy.
